I have been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon. I made my first children’s picture book at the age of 5, when my mother insisted on plaiting my hair for school!

Living on a farm in beautiful rural Northumberland where I was raised, my artwork reflects my deep love of country life and wildlife, both at home and on my many travels abroad.

Illustrating children’s picturebooks brings together my four great loves in life: nature, art, children and books.
